 Description

The Quality Control (QC) positions for the Jafurah Project are highly important roles within one of Saudi Arabia’s major energy developments. These positions ensure that all construction, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities are carried out according to strict Aramco standards and international quality codes. The QC team is responsible for maintaining the integrity, safety, and reliability of project work across multiple disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, welding, piping, coating, and structural activities. Each role contributes to minimizing defects, ensuring compliance, and supporting the successful completion of long-term industrial operations. In large-scale projects like Jafurah, QC professionals are essential for maintaining consistency, preventing errors, and ensuring that every stage of work meets approved engineering specifications.


 Key Responsibilities

QC professionals are responsible for performing detailed inspections at various stages of construction and installation activities. They must ensure that all work is carried out according to project drawings, specifications, and Aramco standards. Inspectors are required to verify material quality, monitor site activities, and ensure proper documentation of inspection reports. Supervisors coordinate with construction teams, resolve technical issues, and ensure that non-conformance reports (NCRs) are properly addressed and closed. They also participate in audits, quality meetings, and site inspections while maintaining strict compliance with safety and quality procedures throughout the project lifecycle.


 Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must have strong technical expertise in their respective QC disciplines along with proven field experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects. Aramco approval and CBT certification are mandatory requirements for all positions. Applicants should be capable of reading engineering drawings, technical specifications, and international codes such as ASME, API, ASTM, and IEC. Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical ability are essential. Good communication skills and teamwork ability are required to coordinate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and site management teams. Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or similar large-scale industrial projects will be considered a strong advantage.
