Rigger 1 professionals are responsible for handling heavy lifting operations with precision and ensuring safe movement of materials. Scaffolding Supervisors oversee the installation and inspection of scaffolding structures, ensuring worker safety at elevated heights. Work Permit Receivers (WPR) manage authorization systems, ensuring that all tasks are carried out under approved safety guidelines. Together, these positions play a key role in maintaining safe and efficient operations on Aramco-linked projects in Abqaiq.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for executing their duties in accordance with strict industrial safety standards. Riggers will plan and perform lifting activities while inspecting rigging equipment for safety compliance. Scaffolding Supervisors will manage scaffold erection, dismantling, and inspection while ensuring all structures meet safety regulations. Work Permit Receivers will verify job permits, coordinate with safety teams, and ensure all operations are properly authorized before execution. All workers must follow site instructions, report hazards immediately, and maintain discipline throughout the project duration. Team coordination and adherence to safety protocols are essential for smooth site operations.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must have strong technical knowledge of industrial construction practices, particularly in oil and gas environments. Rigger 1 candidates should be experienced in load calculations, lifting plans, and equipment handling. Scaffolding Supervisors must understand structural safety, inspection procedures, and workforce coordination. Work Permit Receivers should be familiar with permit-to-work systems, hazard identification, and compliance documentation. Aramco approval is required for all positions. Candidates must also demonstrate physical fitness, teamwork ability, and awareness of occupational safety standards.
