Description
These job roles are part of critical industrial shutdown and maintenance operations in major Aramco facilities. The purpose of these positions is to ensure that all field activities are executed safely, efficiently, and according to strict Aramco standards. Work Permit Receivers manage authorization processes before any task begins, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Riggers handle lifting and material movement operations, while scaffolders are responsible for assembling safe working platforms at height. Together, these roles support uninterrupted project execution and contribute to the overall safety and productivity of the site. Their importance lies in minimizing risks, preventing accidents, and ensuring smooth workflow in high-pressure industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Professionals in these roles are expected to perform their duties with precision and strict safety adherence. Work Permit Receivers are responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing all work permits before task execution, ensuring that all safety checks and approvals are completed. Riggers are required to handle lifting equipment, inspect rigging gear, and safely move heavy materials using proper lifting techniques. Scaffolders must construct, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures in compliance with TUV and Aramco safety standards. All workers are expected to follow site instructions, maintain coordination with supervisors, and ensure that every activity is carried out without compromise to safety or quality standards.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must possess strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in their respective fields. WPR personnel should be familiar with Aramco permit systems and safety documentation procedures. Riggers must understand load calculations, lifting plans, and equipment inspection protocols. Scaffolders should have certification in scaffolding systems, including TUV standards, and experience working at heights. In addition, all applicants must demonstrate teamwork, discipline, and awareness of industrial safety practices. Prior experience in shutdown projects, oil & gas facilities, or large-scale construction environments will be highly preferred.
