The SS-Welder (GTAW) role is a highly skilled position in the welding and fabrication industry, primarily focused on stainless steel welding using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG/GTAW) techniques. This job is essential in industrial construction, oil & gas projects, and heavy engineering sectors where precision, strength, and safety are critical. Key Responsibilities
The SS-Welder (GTAW) will be responsible for performing high-precision welding work on stainless steel materials according to technical drawings and project specifications. Duties include preparing materials for welding, cleaning and aligning joints, and ensuring accurate weld penetration and finishing. The welder must operate GTAW equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with site safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include inspecting completed welds for defects, repairing any imperfections, and cooperating with supervisors and engineers to meet production targets. Helpers assigned under this category will assist welders by handling tools, preparing materials, and supporting site operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Skills and Knowledge
